It is a Ukrainian state-run clinical and dental school and is otherwise called the Ukrainian Medical and Stomatological Academy (UMSA). The University was set up in the year 1921 by the dental workforce of Kharkiv Medical Academy. In 1967, the University was moved to the city of Poltava and was renamed as the Poltava Ukrainian Medical Stomatological (oral medication) Academy (UMSA).
Because of its low passing rate during medical procedure, the college got the most elevated accreditation level and later it got another acknowledgment the Poltava State Medical University (UMSA) in the year 1994. It offers graduate, postgraduate, and strength courses in different fields to understudies.
